Below is a fun and challenging 2 minute YouTube video, providing a quick way to make a set of battle “ropes” using nothing more than a couple of blankets, scissors and some string/shoelaces.
In this 2 minute video, we give a preview of how to assemble your setup, and get right to work. I promise you this workout will challenge even the fittest of conditioned athletes, as well as those just starting out.

20 Minute Battle “Rope” Annihilator
The Circuit 20 Minutes / AMRoundsAP (As Many Rounds as Possible) 20 Seconds of Work / 10 Seconds of Recovery (15-30 Seconds of Recovery Between Rounds)
- Alternating Waves
- Double Arm Slams
- Sprawl-to-Alternating Waves
- Alternating Uppercuts
- In-and-Out Waves
- Side Shuffle Alternating Waves
What You’ll Need to make your “Ropes”:
- 2 Blankets
- A Pair of Shoelaces or similar
- Scissors
- Leg of a Couch (Or a Door)
