Simple and Delicious Dishes in Under 10 Minutes

This dish provides a healthy dose of fats to fuel your brain and give you a boost of energy to start the day. We tend to stay away from meals high in fats & dairy just prior to workouts, however if you have some time before crushing your next workout, this is a perfect meal with lots of options.

Not into eating bacon? Substitute with some fresh peppers or mushrooms. Prefer Ezekiel bread? No problem, these recipeies are yours to customize.

The Simple Method
Ingredients:
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Slices of Bacon
  • 2 Tablespoons of guacamole
  • 2 Slices of Multigrain or Similar Bread
Prep:

Preheat your nonstick pan to a medium high heat so once the eggs are in, they’ll need only 1-2 minutes on each side for Over Medium results. Scramble is fine, like we keep saying, the end result is still your choice.

While the eggs are cooking, have your bacon spread out on a microwaveable plate with paper towels under/over to prevent splatter and absorb all that extra fat we don’t need to eat. Usually the cook time is around 4-5 minutes for 4 slices of Bacon.

Drop the bread in the toaster with 2 minutes remaining and once the bell goes off, drop those slices onto a plate, spread as much guac on each slice as you’d like, lay a slice or two of bacon on each in your favorite aesthetically pleasing design, and slide the eggs on top.

The Verdict

The setup as shown here is approximately 350 Calories with a macronutrient breakdown of 17/56/27. A little higher than our normal 40/40/20 we shoot for (Protein/Carbs/Fats) however everyone is different and those are our targets for the end of the day, so individual meals will vary.

Season with a little salt, pepper or hot sauce if you’d like, and most importantly… ENJOY! 🙂
